Working in the residential and hospitality sectors on both landscape and interior projects, we collaborate with design professionals and work directly with clients, offering a range of services from full scope packages through to consultancy.

Working with Lydia Rowse of Studio Rowse on the lighting design for our 18th century home in Provence was one of the best decisions we made during our renovation.
The lighting is something guests comment on constantly- every room feels warm, beautiful and incredibly comfortable to be in. Lydia has a remarkable talent for creating atmosphere through layered lighting, combining uplights, downlights, spotlights and decorative lamps in a way that feels completely natural and effortless from one room to the next.

Studio Rowse was employed during the renovation of our family home in 2022/2023. The property required full renovation including complete re-wiring and Lydia’s expert knowledge and technical drawings were invaluable. She communicated well and worked collaboratively with onsite contractors, which was vital as we were heavily time pressured due to the imminent birth of our second baby. She alleviated much of the stress in that regard.
Lydia explained the importance of suitable lighting throughout the house - the kitchen is perfectly lit for task work, but she also insisted on appropriate settings for evenings and dinner parties which was absolutely right. In the living rooms and bedrooms she created cosy and inviting atmospheres which we enjoy daily.
As parents with a young family we wanted the rooms to adapt over time and Lydia took this into consideration. She also advised us on the exterior which I underestimated before seeing the impact of effective lighting making the outside look truly beautiful.
Lydia is creative, efficient and very easy to work with. She was a critical part of our renovation team and I recommend her services to anyone embarking on a project, however big or small.
